Pay Rate: $41 - $43 per hour + allowances + penalties
Shifts: Monday to Friday | Start times between 3:00 AM – 5:00 AMKey Responsibilities
- Collect kerbside residential waste, including general waste, recycling, and green waste
- Run behind waste trucks and load bins into side or rear loaders
- Operate bin lifters and compactors safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure correct use of PPE
- Communicate respectfully with the public when required
- Adapt to route changes and support the driver as needed
- Experience in waste collection or physically demanding outdoor work (advantageous but not essential)
- Reliable transport to and from depot for early starts
- Physically fit: capable of running/walking up to 15–20 km and lifting bins up to 30 kg
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Safety-focused and able to follow WHS procedures
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
