About the OpportunityRandstad is proud to partner with a leader in residential waste management. We are seeking motivated and physically fit Waste Offsiders for immediate starts based at their Greenacre, NSW depot.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an active, hands-on role in an essential industry with the potential for long-term career growth.The RoleAs a Waste Offsider, you will be responsible for:Collecting kerbside waste, including general waste, recycling, and green waste.Running behind the waste truck and loading bins into rear loaders.Operating bin lifters and compactors safely.Following all safety protocols and ensuring correct use of PPE.Communicating respectfully with the public.Adapting to route changes and providing strong support to your driver.RequirementsPhysically Fit: This is a demanding role. You must be able to run/walk up to 15-20 km per day and lift bins up to 30 kg.Reliable Transportation: You must have your own reliable transport to get to the depot for early starts.A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.Ability to work in all weather conditions.The ability to pass a mandatory drug & alcohol test and a police check.Experience in waste collection or other physically demanding outdoor work is a bonus but not essential.What We OfferA highly competitive pay rate of $41 - $43 per hour, plus superannuation, allowances, and penalties.Stable, consistent Monday to Friday shifts with start times between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM.Access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and other benefits.Opportunities for long-term and permanent employment.How to ApplyIf you meet the requirements and are ready for an immediate start, please submit your updated resume via SEEK or email it directly to veoliainhouse@randstad.com.au.Please ensure the subject line is: Residential Waste Offsider – GreenacreWe appreciate your interest in this position.
