The opportunityDelaware North Australia is hiring a casual Beach Club Attendant to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. This role is part of our Activities and Marine Division, with a strong focus on the guest-facing operations coordination that keeps our guest experiences running smoothly.As a key support to the daily operations, you'll be responsible for greeting guests, managing schedules, preparing equipment for tours, maintaining guest records, and ensuring timely communication across departments. You'll also assist with beachside guest inductions and snorkel gear fittings as needed. What will you do?
  • Daily record upkeep, and administrative duties (Excel, Opera, ResDiary)
  • Ensure Beach Club and equipment is clean, well-stocked, and meets quality standards
  • Ensuring the consistency, quality and integrity of the delivery of guest service related to the activities function
  • Undertake a combination of meeting and greeting incoming and outgoing guests, coordinating tours and transfer bookings, and running activities
  • Maintain a safe work environment by assisting with implementation of OH&S policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to Delaware North Policies and Procedures and Code of Conduct
More about you
  • Strong understanding of marine and island environments, including the Great Barrier Reef, coral reef systems, and local flora, fauna, and wildlife
  • Marine and dive industry knowledge
  • Current & valid for 6 months Australian First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) &
  • Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy Certificate (HLTAID015) (all essential)
  • RSA certificate (essential)
  • Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) (essential)
  • PADI or SSI Dive master or PADI instructor certification (highly regarded)
  • Current AS 2299 diving medical certificate (Australian recognised)
  • Current Padi Diving Insurance (Public Liability and Diver Evac)
  • Current PADI/SSI membership
