Automation Test Engineer

- Develop, execute, and maintain a robust automated test script library using UFT for functional, regression, and integration testing of the Advanced Energy Management System.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system engineers, and domain experts to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Evaluate UFT limitations and implement strategies to overcome them. Facilitate the integration of UFT with JIRA Xray for efficient test management and defect tracking.
- Develop and execute automated test plans and test cases for SCADA and EMS platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices by training and mentoring other test engineers on UFT.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Micro Focus UFT within an Operational Technology environment.
- Solid understanding of SCADA and Energy Management Systems, including protocols and operational workflows. Proficiency in VB Script and experience with UFT frameworks is essential.
- Degree in a related field, along with an ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
- Experience with performance testing tools and a working knowledge of cybersecurity testing in industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with test management tools like ALM, JIRA, and Xray, with a focus on integrating UFT with these platforms.
