About the roleThe Brisbane region is home to a number of well-established tertiary, general and specialist hospitals boasting quality health care services and contemporary work environments. Mental health services are provided through inpatient, outpatient and community settings, offering individuals experiencing complex mental illness and associated disorders treatment and care within a multidisciplinary framework.The successful applicant will be providing clinical leadership in a large teaching hospital. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient treatment and care, liaising with other providers of health care services, and engaging in supervision and training of registrars, junior medical staff and other health care team members. Additional responsibilities include establishing, maintaining and contributing to quality improvement activities, monitoring outcomes, reporting to the Executive Director any significant concerns regarding quality of care, proactively managing patient feedback, and participating in the development of policies, procedures and protocols within the specialty of Psychiatry.About the areaThe Brisbane region offers a unique blend of relaxed living and city convenience, making it one of Australia’s most liveable and future-focused places to call home.
