Responsible for all Area field sales activities, including customer contact, contract initiation, market activity monitoring, and intelligence gathering. Responsible for analysing markets, developing sales and marketing plans, forecasting sales, and monitoring sales program implementation. Develops and maintains sales relationships with major customers. Develops and implements major account sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts. May service one major account. May supervise other sales/field service representatives but is considered a senior level salesperson who is expected to make customer sales calls.Sales / Market / Customer Activities
- Call and/or visit existing customers and target accounts to identify needs, establish buying cycles, and facilitate strong customer-supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely review, strategy development, accurate evaluation, and effective bids on all inquiries.
- Develop and maintain direct line responsibilities with key accounts, ensuring positive business relationships to meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned area.
- Continually evaluate the market within assigned areas; remain fully aware of the competitive environment and profitability status of each account.
- Identify opportunities to grow the regional customer base and prepare action plans to convert prospects into new accounts.
- Conduct technical presentations and discussions to promote the product.
- Visit ongoing installation projects to understand product applications and strengthen customer relationships.
- Participate in local marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Prepare status reports (e.g., sales forecasts, progress to goals).
- Travel extensively within the region and as necessary for scheduled sales meetings.
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
- Understand customer needs and be aware of industry trends and market developments driving buyer behavior.
- Effectively communicate with all internal functional areas to achieve sales objectives.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; able to communicate via phone, email, and formal correspondence.
- Possess solid technical background; sound judgment; good business sense; teamwork ability; quick relationship building; analytical and problem-solving skills; resilience; tenacity; independence.
- Self-motivated with proven sales track record and knowledge of pipeline and oil & gas technology; comfortable in a dynamic technical organisation with a rapidly expanding customer base.
- Strong presentation skills; able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and reports; able to articulate product strengths and tailor presentations to customer interests.
- Organized and analytical; able to remove sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches; prepared for extensive travel.
- Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental control procedures and instructions.
- Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing tasks.
- Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents.
- Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and machinery in good working order.
- Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations.

- Ensure orders are accurately entered into ERP/CRM.
- Ensure correct invoicing is issued per client requirement
- Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to work under multiple deadlines.
- Computer skills required: familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and other software.
- General understanding of CRM and ERP systems, processes, and procedures.
