- Manage preparation and review of profit & loss and balance sheet journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with GAAP and local financial legislation
- Lead month-end and quarter-end close and consolidation processes across APAC, coordinating with business and accounting teams
- Prepare statutory financial reports for Australia, including APAC consolidation for the holding company, ensuring timely and compliant submissions
- Oversee tax compliance activities, including preparation, review, and timely filing of statutory returns and reports in collaboration with external consultants
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly 10Q packets for SEC submission, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, including managing the PBC list and audit queries
- Ensure compliance with SOX testing procedures, including quarterly self-audits, revenue recognition reviews, related accounting adjustments, and business guidance.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal standards
- Monitor and manage APAC cashflow to ensure operational funding needs are met
- Assist in quarterly cash forecast reporting
- Oversee bank guarantee management, including drawdown applications, withdrawals, and related deposits
- Drive system implementations and acquisition integrations
- Identify and lead continuous process improvement initiatives across accounting operations
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Analyse P&L actuals vs. budget, provide variance insights, and deliver recommendations to business managers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Provide technical accounting advice and solutions to the business as needed
- Lead special projects and respond to ad hoc requests as required

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting and full membership in CPA or CA
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting or financial function with 3+ years in a manager role
- Proficient in Australian financial and tax reporting with a strong understanding of statutory compliance and requirements
- Strong knowledge of U.S GAAP
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced MS Excel Skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and desire to drive efficiencies through process improvement
- Ability to think critically and understand the underlying purpose of a given journal entry, internal control, or process, including upstream and downstream impacts. Ability to set expectations and identify anomalies
- Proven record of process improvement and achieving desired outcomes
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong relationship-building and team management skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, multinational environments by remaining adaptable, resilient, and solutions-focused under strict deadlines and competing priorities
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy
- Experience with SAP and Blackline is preferred
