- Control sales expenditure to be within budget and achieve budgeted sales targets in Gross Sales Value, Volume, and Contribution.
- Negotiate and manage independent trading terms in conjunction with the State Sales Manager - Northern.
- Achieve and maintain distribution of new and current products, ensuring customer retention and acquisition.
- Conduct bi-monthly field visits to ensure tactical execution of agreed business plans at End User level and complete visits in line with state monthly meeting timelines.
- Prepare and maintain an Annual Business Development Plan outlining strategies to drive Simplot's business across all product lines within Victoria.
- Review market share trends, competitor activity, pricing, and distribution, and make recommendations to the State Sales Manager - Northern.
- Communicate promotional programmes, ranging, deals, and sales information to the field monthly, and ensure timely administration of promotional payments
- Manage pricing within the State customer base aligned to the national sales strategy and ensure pricing is within the Pricing Matrix.
- Own the volume forecast for all product lines and ensure Demand Management processes are met in conjunction with sales leadership directives.
- Coach and work with Field team to optimise relationships and activity in the customer for allocated product lines, supported by ride-with days and monthly state meetings.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a relevant discipline (preferred).
- Experience in Foodservice, Sales, or a related FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated IT skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Suite.
- Substantial demonstrated account management experience.
- Ability to work closely with the State Sales Manager - Northern, as well as operate autonomously.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- High-level business acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships aligned to customer focus and business plans.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
