12 month initial role
- Provide superior executive assistance and professional administrative support to the Executive General Manager (EGM):
- Management of Senior Executive’s diary, ensuring that priority workflows and processes are fulfilled, and email correspondence responded to or redirected as appropriate
- Anticipate requirements and initiate timely responses and provision of materials for meetings, briefings, events and functions including all aspects of travel
- Monitor workflow between the Division and the Executive Office including channeling notices and minutes through appropriate stakeholders
- Undertake data entry including Executive timekeeper data, credit card acquittal, booking travel and monitoring on-line subscriptions
- Coordination and strategy
- Provide secretariat services to the Division’s weekly managers’ meeting (consisting of SES and Executive Directors) and provide back-up secretariat support to the Division’s operational boards
- Liaison with other Divisional business units, including: the Advocacy team in relation to eg. national/international stakeholder engagement; the broader Corporate and Governance team (providing back-up executive support as required); and, the CSU generally
- Liaison with other agency stakeholders, especially other enforcement business areas, and corporate branches.
- Evidence management:
- Maintain records of evidence and the chain of custody evidence items in accordance with the Evidence Management Policy and implementing the handling procedures and guidelines
- Supervise and develop junior staff, including managing their performance.
- Experience providing Executive/Project/Business support to a senior executive.
- An understanding of whole-of-government frameworks, policies and procedures would be a strong advantage.
