- Report into a friendly and approachable Finance Manager who has been with the business for 10+ years
- Brisbane CBD location with easy access to public transport
- Competitive salary range (determined by experience level)
- 12 month fixed-term contract with the potential to extend
- Lead and oversee all payroll operations
- Ensure all pay run activities are executed in accordance with legislative, regulatory and award requirements (including tax, superannuation, STP) with strict adherence to timing and accuracy
- Implement and deliver pay compliance reporting
- Coach and mentor direct reports to deliver best practice payroll and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Lead and coach performance, development, and day-to-day operations for the payroll team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position
- Experience managing a payroll of at least 1000 employees
- Experience using a large system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
