
Director, Field and Channel Marketing APAC & Japan - 12 month contract

- Lead field marketing strategy and execution for ASEAN and ANZ regions in close alignment with regional sales leadership.
- Act as the primary bridge between APJ field marketing and global marketing functions, including campaigns, product marketing, digital, operations, and channel.
- Drive program excellence and consistency across all APJ sub-regions, aligning global campaigns with regional go-to-market needs and sales objectives.
- Collaborate with channel marketing leads and partner teams to develop and execute joint partner programs that drive channel-sourced pipeline.
- Operate as a senior strategic advisor to field teams on campaign planning, execution, and performance optimization.
- Own the development, localization, and rollout of integrated demand generation campaigns, including net new logo acquisition, upsell/cross-sell, and partner-led programs.
- Oversee channel program development and partner marketing plans, ensuring alignment with APJ partner priorities and routes to market.
- Build and maintain a data-driven view of target accounts and buyer personas, aligning campaign execution to sales territories and pipeline priorities.
- Guide the execution of account-based marketing (ABX) strategies in collaboration with SDR/BDR teams, ensuring effectiveness in high-value account engagement.
- Champion the use of data, analytics, and marketing metrics to guide decision-making and evaluate campaign performance.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Sales Ops to define and track KPIs including MQLs, pipeline contribution, ROI, and channel performance.
- Drive a culture of continuous optimization and marketing performance improvement across the team.
- Manage regional marketing budgets effectively and report on performance with transparency and accountability.
- Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of four direct reports, cultivating a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
- Provide strategic direction, development coaching, and leadership support for both direct reports and regional dotted-line team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and shared success, in alignment with global marketing strategies and the unique dynamics of the APJ region.
- Operate as a player-coach, stepping in to personally lead or support the execution of key programs or initiatives where needed.
- 10+ years of marketing experience in B2B technology, with a strong background in field marketing, demand generation, and/or channel marketing.
- Proven experience leading regional or cross-country marketing teams in complex, matrixed global organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Channel, Product Marketing, and Global Campaign teams.
- Deep understanding of data-driven marketing strategies, including campaign performance measurement, reporting, and optimization.
- Familiarity with ABX methodologies, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and MAPs (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Passion for cybersecurity, challenger brands, and driving results through creativity, agility, and customer obsession.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate and grow high-performing regional teams.
- Experience managing fixed budgets and optimizing spend for maximum return.
- Exceptional project management and time management capabilities.
