Join a pioneering state-wide pilot program supporting NSW Health inpatient services caring for people with extreme behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. Lead as a senior clinician driving expert consultancy, leadership, education, research, and service development.Provide expert clinical consultancy across OPMHSLead and supervise CNC peers and nursing workforceDrive clinical leadership and collaborative projectsApply research to enhance practice and innovationPlan and deliver specialised education and trainingHow to Apply
Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential Requirements:Qualification: Post graduate qualification related to the specific area of specialtyRegistration: Registered Nurse with current authority to practice with AHPRASelection Criteria:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum seven (07) years of full-time post-graduate experience, including at least five (05) years full-time equivalent in the specialty field. Possession of an approved postgraduate qualification and/or master's degree relevant to the specialty.Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team framework, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence in nursing practice.Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and sound clinical judgmentDemonstrated skills and experience in delivering education and training, with a sound understanding of evidence-based practice and a commitment to person- and relationship-centred careDemonstrated advanced interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and advocacy, particularly when engaging with key internal and external stakeholdersExperience in conducting or contributing to research, clinical audits, and/or clinical practice improvement projects within OPMHSEligible to drive in NSW and ability and willingness to engage in travel across the state as needed.Requisition ID: REQ600661
