Fuel Station Attendant - Part Time

• Costco Ardeer - Melbourne
• Part Time 24hrs minimum 5 days a week
• Rotating roster which will include weekend work hours between 5am-11pm

• Greets member and if required, swipes membership and payment card, removes fuel cap, and pumps fuel
• Directs traffic as needed
• Cleans fuel spills using neutralizing agent and/or absorbing cloth, disposes of material properly
• Performs/arranges for routine equipment maintenance
• Cleans station, including dispensers, data shed, islands, pavement, trash
• Loads pump receipt tape and ribbons
• Performs daily inspections of all equipment
• Research competitors pricing in the local area using private vehicle; keys report into computer daily
• Monitors fuel deliveries, signs delivery receipts
• Enforces National fire codes and Costco safety policies, e.g. no smoking, ignition turned off, no use of mobile phone while

• Responds to alarms appropriately
• Uses fire extinguisher if necessary

• Fuel dispensers, card reader, computer, 2-way radio, phone, fire extinguisher, and private vehicle.

• Assists with front end duties and in other departments of the warehouse, as necessary.

• If successful, you will be required to undertake role & department specific training within specified timeframes
