Blending portfolio management with business development, the role focuses on strengthening client relationships, managing diverse risk portfolios, and generating new opportunities across a QLD-based territory supported by an established pipeline.This position will suit an experienced insurance broker, account manager, or business development professional from the general insurance sector.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and expand an existing book of SME and commercial clients across varied sectors.
- Pursue new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Conduct client consultations to assess risks and develop tailored insurance programs.
- Collaborate with underwriters to prepare quotes, negotiate competitive terms, and finalise policies.
- Provide renewal strategies, claims guidance, and ongoing risk management solutions.
- $80K - $100K Base + Super + Bonuses

You'll bring proven insurance broking or brokerage experience, ideally within Commercial lines insurance.
You'll also need:
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing client portfolios
- Tier 1 & 2 insurance broking qualifications (Tier 2 accepted as long as you are willing to get Tier 1 within 12 months of starting)
