To deliver all this and more, we're looking for a Demi Chef who'll support all kitchen activities and prepare our delicious food across an Al a Carte offering - helping create memorable experiences for guests - whenever and wherever they dine. You'll ensure quality, kitchen maintenance, and inventory functions are kept to our high standards - to make sure your kitchen is always running smoothly.Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:● Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebuds creating Al a Carte dining options● Taking ownership for your workstation - keeping on top of supplies, equipment and waste● Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback - recognise good performance● Being cleaner than clean to meet or exceed HACCP requirements● Helping with washing up and other kitchen duties where needed● Taking on other ad-hoc duties like a true team playerWhat We need from you:● Experience in a busy alacarte dining environment is preffered● Right to legally work full time in Australia● Qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider● Must hold a current Safe Food Handling Certification● Articulate - a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to● Flexibility - night, weekend and public holiday shifts are all part of the job● Team player with a collaborative approach to work● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloadWhat you can expect from us:You'll be rewarded for your hard work with a suite of benefits that supports you and your family's well-being, including:
