Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role leads the design and delivery of advanced analytics solutions that transform structured and unstructured data into actionable insights. By championing modern tools such as Power BI, Azure data services, and data modelling techniques, the Senior Developer will enable evidence-based decision making across compliance, registration, insurance, and dispute resolution functions.What we are looking for
Developer level expertise in Power BI, including data modelling and Dashboard / Report development.
Proficiency in ETL and Data Modelling within an Azure environment.
Experience with the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, & PowerApps.
Advanced analytical skills in Business Intelligence and Reporting.
Tertiary qualifications in either (Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics) or other relevant disciplines.

It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation.Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance.
