
Senior Digital Data Analytics Engineer

- Act as an SME and develop expertise and insights on Medibank Digital data ecosystem, championing digital data to be the integration fabric for Medibank digital ecosystem.
- Enable reusability, scalability and efficiency in digital analytics implementation and tagging practice by adopting a generic data model and implementing a standardised data layers library.
- Provide guidance and support on 3rd party tag implementation (floodlights, vendor tags), partner with marketing and media agency to enable marketing use cases.
- Conduct regular audit and data validation exercises to ensure digital data collection and tag management practice is accurate and compliant with Medibank privacy policy.
- Configure, maintain, and review digital analytics platforms.
- Schedule regular digital data audit and health check to ensure data accuracy and compliance obligations.
- Develop digital measurement framework to inform digital data collection and align key measures to business objectives.
- Apply enterprise view from data collection, processing, and reporting. Adhere to enterprise definition to create alignment, consistency and synergy between data sources to achieve single view of customer insights.
- Utilise analytics and marketing platforms capabilities to activate insights and marketing opportunities.
- Develop dashboards for self-service and automate insights on digital platform performance.
- Perform QA and data validation exercises regularly to ensure data integrity.
- Partner with Digital team in creating digital analytics measurement plan that aligns to business OKRs.
- Socialise and communicate Digital Analytics roadmap with the Enterprise Digital team and with business stakeholders to always ensure transparency.
- Ideally 5+ years' experience in digital analytics.
- Experience configurating data layers and implementing tags on Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong knowledge and power user of Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Javascript, JSON and Google Big Query is highly regarded.
- Experience in designing and implementing Data Layers on both App and Web assets.
- Experience in implementation of Personalisation and Customer Data Platform is highly regarded (Adobe Target, DMP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Optimizely, Google Cloud Platform, Salesforce/ Adobe CDP).
- Experience with website conversion optimisation and campaign management via A/B testing tools such as Adobe Target.
- Understanding of technical platforms and principles, with a demonstrated ability of working closely with cross-functional agile delivery teams.
- An overall effective communicator who can explain insights clearly (verbal & written).
- The ability to build and maintain horizontal and vertical networks.
