In this hands-on role, you'll work on a variety of John Deere Agricultural and Turf machinery, gaining valuable experience with cutting-edge equipment.The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

Detecting and diagnosing machine faults
Working on engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
Performing scheduled maintenance and services in accordance with John Deere standards and procedures
Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after repair for proper performance
Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers
Document system information and repairs completed on work order, including parts used in our Company systems

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

A relevant mechanical trade qualification
Strong computer skills
Small engine experience (essential)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
