You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the Life Join our Surgical Robotics team as a Senior Robotic Clinical Support Specialist and support the clinical engagement and utilization of the Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery System in Queensland. In this role, you will support the system installations by helping to train surgical teams and maintaining the overall robotic program at your account. Additionally, you will support the local team in raising awareness and expanding our surgeon base by promoting the Hugo RAS System.At Medtronic, we believe that patients around the world deserve access to quality care and improved outcomes. Surgical Robotics will expand global access to care and reduce surgical variability through portfolio or robotic and analytics solutions.Reporting to the Robotic Clinical Specialist (RCS) Manager for Surgical Robotics ANZ, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the utilization of the Hugo RAS system.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Supporting installation activitiesWorking closely with Medtronic Field Service Engineers and hospital staff to prepare the operating room for the Medtronic robotWorking with RCS Manager to develop an inventory plan for robotic proceduresTraining hospital staff to clean and sterilise reusable robotic instrumentsWorking with RCS manager to develop, coordinate, and execute surgeon and OR team training plansSupporting local customer training team to deliver the Hugo RAS Customer Training ProgramWorking with internal stakeholders to arrange proctored cases as neededMaintaining ongoing Hugo RAS system coaching and continuous improvement initiativesTracking milestones to showcase the value delivered by the Hugo RAS programSupporting the local team in raising awareness for robotic surgery in the hospitalSupporting clinical engagement in key opportunitiesSupporting technology adoption by attending non-Hugo RAS system cases with target surgeonsData management and reportingRequired Knowledge and Experience:Bachelor’s degreeDemonstrable experience in clinical setting or capital equipment salesOperating Room knowledge or experienceDemonstrated ability to operate from idea generation, strategy development through detailed implementation and results deliveryExperience in change managementWillingness to travel depending on project needs; occasional weekend work as neededPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package
