Senior Financial Accountant / Perth CBD / Permanent Position / $130,000 - $140,000 / Development / Progression / Excellent BenefitsCore Talent are recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading service business based in their luxury offices within Perth CBD. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for monitoring the financial transactions of national branded business, whilst working with a Financial Controller who has an excellent track record of developing and supporting people.The Senior Financial Accountant's key duties will include:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports aligned with AASB/IFRS
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments
Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations
Lead payroll processing and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and internal controls
Oversee general ledger, accounts payable and receivable functions
Deliver financial analysis and insights to support business and board-level decisions
Maintain and enhance internal controls, process documentation, and system improvements

Key skills required:

Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, CPA/CA qualified (or working towards)
5+ years' experience in financial or management accounting
Strong knowledge of AASB and/or IFRS
Experience with NetSuite & Excel
Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and communication skills
A proactive and collaborative team player
