We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a proactive maintenance function within a high-performing industrial manufacturing site. Based in Campbellfield VIC, this permanent full-time role is a critical leadership position focused on improving plant reliability, reducing downtime, and extending asset life through effective planning, preventative maintenance, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to maximise asset up time and reliability
Coordinate shutdowns, subcontractor activities, and critical spares inventory to ensure operational continuity
Oversee and continuously improve the Maintenance Management System, ensuring timely completion and reporting of work orders
Reduce production downtime by identifying and addressing emerging equipment issues early
Champion a strong safety culture by participating in risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
Identify and deliver capital projects, working within budget and operational targets
Lead, coach and develop the maintenance team to improve capability and performance
Use data-driven tools such as vibration analysis, oil sampling, and thermography for condition monitoring and root cause analysis

What You Bring:

Trade qualification or degree in mechanical, maintenance or engineering discipline
Strong maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or heavy industry environments
Proven track record in preventative and reliability-centred maintenance
Practical understanding of maintenance technologies (vibration, ultrasound, IR, etc.)
Experience with maintenance planning systems and asset management software
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to team safety and development
