The Shire covers an area of 22,000 square kilometres and has a population of approximately 6,000.POSITIONS VACANTCasual Kiosk Attendants - Walgett & CollarenebriWalgett Shire Council is seeking Casual Kiosk Attendants for our Aquatic Facilities, for the 2025/26 Season.Our kiosk attendants serve patrons within the pool environment.Kiosk attendants are also responsible for:
  • Supporting public safety
  • The smooth running of the kiosk operations
  • Compliance with WHS standards
  • Carrying out maintenance of amenities, grounds and pool infrastructure
  • Customer service and sales
These positions will suit retail / customer service / hospitality professionals, or travellers in the area over the seasonal period.Suitable applicants will:
  • be able to work independently as well as part of a team,
  • have a high level of customer service,
  • be available and willing to work on weekends
  • possess, or be willing to obtain, a First Aid Certificate.
