Tasks and Qualifications:The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join our close-knit AGV Customer Service team, based in the Belrose office. You will be supporting, maintaining, developing and upgrading critical software that manages product moved by our AGV robots in warehouses, distribution centres and factories across the APAC region.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from technical experts and gain valuable experience by assisting and working with our more senior Engineers with condition monitoring, breakdown support, software development and assisting in the implementation of upgrades, system improvements and changes. This is a customer facing role and requires good technical and interpersonal skills to resolve complicated issues. Occasional travel may be required as directed by business needs.What we are looking forThe successful candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:Tertiary Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering (dual degrees are highly regarded), and/or with excellent academic recordsStrong interest and skills in programming/software developmentC#, SQL Programming languages. Skills in other programming languages is highly regarded.Customer service experience and good interpersonal skills.Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of PLC’s (advantageous, can be trained on-the-job).Strong Technical Writing abilityStrong problem solving abilityExcellent time management and prioritising skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDependable mature minded individual that is a good proactive team playerIf you would like to apply for the above position, please click on the ‘Apply for this job’ button and submit a copy on your resume and your university academic transcript as part of the application process.
