The companyA blue chip global player in the payments space.They have a relatively new but mature offering for the eCommerce sector that streamlines the sales process for customers greatly diminishes abandonment rate at the checkout. The business is looking to drive further uptake of the solution, and want to to bring aboard a sales team to own the campaign.The roles are 6 mth contract positions. The focus will largely be focused on filling the sales pipeline rather than closing deals per se.The roleThe company feels their offering is best suited to small to mid tier players in the retail & eCommerce sectors. Hence their target(s) will be C-level individuals in that sphere or roles of similar gravitas - Heads of EComm, etc.The business is a global heavyweight and has an excellent reputation. You'll also have plenty of market knowledge to leverage as part of the sales process.Initiating contact with potential new customers and managing opportunities through the sales pipeline to a successful close will be a the heart of the role. Cold calling, lead generation, research & networking will be core elements of the role.So what are we looking for?

A proven track record of sales of technical/IT solutions (ideally payments flavoured) in the Australian market
The ability to engage with and cultivate meaningful relationships with C-level individuals
A excellent understanding of the sales lifecycle, and the ability to effectively manage all phases of the process
