- Work with other staff in the College including (but not limited to) the Course Chair to foster collaborations, and build research capacity and industry engagement in Paramedicine;
- Prepare and deliver all teaching materials required for block workshop, practical classes, and simulations using innovative approaches that are fit-for-purpose within the VU block model;
- Supervise HDR students;
- Consult with and provide advice, support, and feedback to students;
- A broad-based knowledge of Paramedicine
- Experience in teaching and research in a Higher Education context alongside the capacity to mentor early career researchers.
- Have a strong passion for teaching and a desire for continuous improvement and development in student learning.
- Possess a background in training or teaching at the higher education level, particularly in the discipline of paramedicine.
- Have demonstrated academic knowledge of the broad issues relevant to paramedicine.
- Are keen to contribute to research programs within the discipline and the college
- Can facilitate excellence in post-graduate teaching through the development and promotion of innovative teaching methods.
