What you need:
  • Baseline Security Clearance mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience designing applications in complex enterprise environments
  • Proven capability conducting usability testing and supporting UAT processes
  • Ability to create and iterate on wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes quickly
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and design systems in a government or enterprise context
We are seeking a passionate and user-centric Application Designer to join a high-impact program within a major Federal Government Department. You'll work at the heart of systems design, collaborating with technical experts, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape intuitive, effective applications used at a national scale.This is your chance to contribute to the end-to-end design of complex corporate systems in a purpose-driven environment.What You'll Do
  • Collaborate across discovery, framing, and iterative development phases
  • Translate user needs into clear and actionable design specifications
  • Apply user-centred design principles across all design touchpoints
  • Conduct usability testing and walkthroughs to validate and enhance designs
  • Support technical teams throughout implementation and provide ongoing design input
  • Resolve design-related issues and provide expert advice during rollout phases
  • Stay informed on best practices in UI/UX and design languages to continuously uplift design quality
