Established in South Australia and manufactured locally and internationally, KELLY machines are known for reliability, simplicity, and performance in the paddock.Their global footprint continues to grow, supported by a network of capable dealers, a commitment to sustainable farming, and a no-nonsense approach to delivering value for producers.About the RoleReporting to the Genal Sales Manager and, combining your technical knowledge, communication, and commercial awareness the Sales Technician is a vital link between customers and regional dealers. You will enable customers to get the best from their machines by advising on correct setup and adjustments for specific soil and crop conditions. By leveraging an existing client base, you will support dealers through development and training on machine setup, operation and maintenance further building dealer capability and ensuring producers maximise productivity.You will support dealer sales by offering solutions and benefits of shallow tillage to new clients by attending client visits, field days and industry events, promoting KELLY’s value proposition. With customers you will also assist with documentation and logistics coordination for new orders, while assisting dealers with spare parts requirements.About YouWe are looking for an outgoing, personable, go-getter person with a passion for agriculture. Someone who enjoys learning and able to work autonomously while keen to make a difference in a fast-moving business.We are keen to hear from you if possess:
  • Solid understanding of agriculture, seasonal and regional dynamics in farming
  • Experience in farm machinery, set up, operation, basic maintenance (you may be from a farm)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills across all levels
  • Confident in building rapport and strong relationships with dealers and farmers
  • Self-motivated, organised, and happy working with dealer representatives, farmers, and Kelly Tillage staff
  • Confidence with CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Experience in agricultural sales/dealer support/familiarity with agricultural dealership networks will be seen as an advantage
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel
