Our key areas of operations include Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management and Global Private Banking.Process Implementation and Change is an important function of HSBC IWPB helping to achieve global and local strategic goals through project delivery. The team consists of Business Analysts, Testing, and Change Management, and works on projects to improve efficiencies and sustainability within IWPB. The team works closely with key stakeholders across IWPB's divisions, as well as the Transformation and Technology team.In this role, you will improve testing capabilities within IWPB Australia - Process Implementation and Change Team aiming to achieve the organisation strategy, lead and drive strategic projects to improve customer experience by expanding and enhancing our digital servicing propositions across all channels and, display excellent interpersonal skills to build quality relationships within the team and with internal stakeholders, be goal-driven, and able to perform efficiently and effectively in an agile environment.Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Define/Implement test strategy, validation of applications, estimating resources and timeframes for completion
  • Build effective connections with the Project Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst and stakeholders to understand business drivers/ requirements and assert acceptance criteria
  • Manage the overall QA & Testing planning activities and coordinate the changes in various values streams/ business sectors to meet the business criteria
  • Lead and develop an effective team by promoting testing best practices, upskilling testing capabilities and aligning to HSBC values
  • Develop and manage strong working relationships within the Tester Community as well as across all IWPB communities.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in digital /retail banking / product experience in Testing domain including mobile and desktop applications, preferably ISTQB Certified
  • Sound exposure in Digital based banking propositions, systems, processes and operational risk
  • Strong skills in crafting and implementing the test strategy to outline the test scope, advocate risks and impacts with a quality mindset
  • Leadership skills are highly desirable
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, communications, analytical, interpersonal, motivational, project management skills
