- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns across a broad range of entities, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Deliver tailored business and taxation advice to help clients achieve their strategic goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, offering technical guidance and ongoing support.
- Oversee tax compliance obligations, including BAS, IAS, GST, FBT, and Division 7A requirements.
- Support audit processes by assisting with client audits and responding to audit-related queries.
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation and emerging industry developments to ensure up-to-date client service.
- Over 7 years of experience in a public practice accounting environment.
- CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing certification).
- In-depth understanding of Australian tax law and accounting standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to effectively manage clients.
- Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Proficient in accounting software, including Xero, MYOB, and comparable platforms.
- Highly motivated team player with a proactive mindset and commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
