Whether they need equipment finance to grow their business, insurance products to protect what matters most, or an award-winning travel agency to book their next getaway, Capricorn can help.Role PurposeAs a Lending Officer, you will oversee the full lifecycle of loan and GO3 applications. Your focus will be on accurate assessment, timely processing, and ensuring all approval conditions are met. You'll also support broader team operations and contribute to a high-performing, member-focused environment.Key AccountabilitiesLending Processing
  • Assess and process loan applications and maintenance requests with precision.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed turnaround times and service level targets.
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
  • Maintain strict compliance with relevant legislation, contracts, and internal policies, with particular attention to AML requirements in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Keep documentation and process manuals current and aligned with business practices.
  • Operate data management systems in accordance with company procedures.
Member Satisfaction
  • Deliver outstanding service to meet Voice of Member (VOM) targets and uphold our “Best in Class” satisfaction standards.
  • Resolve application issues efficiently through collaboration with sales teams and members, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain excellence in service across all stakeholder interactions.
_Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Clear and effective communication across diverse internal and external audiences.
Experience
  • Up to 2 years' experience in a lending or finance-related role.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality service in credit application processing.
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV or higher in Financial Services.
