About the Role:We are seeking a Production Trades Assistant to join our client based in the western suburbs. In this hands-on role, you’ll support the fabrication and assembly of steel security doors and frames. Working alongside qualified tradespeople, you’ll use a range of hand and machine tools, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:

Assist tradespeople with the fabrication and assembly of steel security doors and frames
Operate and maintain hand tools and basic machinery
Support production to meet daily targets and maintain quality standards
Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-organized
Follow all company OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or trades assistant role
Ability to use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
Reliability to work Monday – Friday with early 6:00 AM starts
