Your RoleExciting opportunity to create meaningful change in the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. As an Engagement Worker, you will be at the heart of community impact, helping individuals access services, participate in programs and achieve positive outcomes. Working with compassion and professionalism, you will support people from diverse backgrounds and contribute to initiatives that strengthen communities. You will also be part of a collaborative team that values empathy, inclusivity and continuous learning.Your ResponsibilityDeliver social engagement activities that reflect consumer voice and evidence-based practiceProvide professional responses to membership, volunteering, donor and support enquiries, including intake assessments and external referralsSupport people experiencing disadvantage to engage with programs and services that meet their needsBuild and maintain strong partnerships with organisations and stakeholders to achieve service outcomesCapture and report data accurately to support continuous improvementYou Will NeedRelevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in community services or a related fieldExperience working with people experiencing disadvantage, including those affected by homelessness, trauma, mental health issues, alcohol and other drug use or unemploymentStrong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgroundsAbility to assess needs and respond effectively to enquiriesConfidence in applying de-escalation strategies in high-conflict situationsStrong computer, organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesFlexibility and resilience in adapting to changing environmentsApply NowIf this sounds like you, don't wait - apply now, we are interviewing applications as we receive them.Any queries please reach out toWe Offer:
