- Providing sound information and advice to external stakeholders seeking guidance from the Exceptional Needs Unit regarding clients or families with highly complex support needs, who are experiencing risk and difficulties in navigating systems/supports.
- To build the capacity of service providers working with clients by increasing their awareness and understanding of appropriate supports and services for clients with complex needs.
- Issue referral forms for the relevant ENU pathway where formal support from the ENU appears appropriate.
- Capture all referrals to the ENU, including data entry on various systems and databases.
- Collate and distribute client information and referrals to be considered by the ENU Intake Committee, including attending Intake meetings and documenting decisions and discussions in minutes.

No formal qualifications required.
