We bring our absolute best to everything we do.About the positionThe Lead HSE Project Advisor operates as part of the HSE team and provides support to the HSE Manager, Project Management team, HSRs, and external stakeholders as directed. The position is based on the applicable project site.The Lead HSE Project Advisor reports to the HSE Manager and plays a major role in assisting in the implementation of the HSE Management System requirements through:

Hands-on execution
Fostering a positive HSE culture
Training and coaching employees in the best use of company systems, procedures, and processes.
Driving stakeholder involvement
Delivering improvements in compliance and risk reduction
Processes to drive the HSE performance of the business

Minimum Certificate IV OHS; Diploma-level OHS preferred.
Preferred 5 years’ experience in heavy industry/construction, petrochemical, and/or mining.
Train the Trainer; Certificate IV in Education and Vocational Assessment preferred or willingness to obtain.
Qualification in Environment (desirable).
Completed accredited Management System Audit training.
Root Cause Analysis Facilitator or willingness to obtain.
Knowledge of, and experience with, HSE regulatory frameworks and agencies.
Experience with hazard recognition, behavioural-based safety, and SWMS development, reviews, and auditing is desired.
Ability to innovate and problem-solve.
High level of computer literacy, including the ability to interpret data and present statistics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence and coach.
