Civil EstimatorThe Opportunity:Randstad are partnered with a well established Civil Contractor seeking to appoint an estimator to bid manage works across western water authorities as well as land subdivision projects and general civil, earthworks and utilities packaged.You will work closely with two senior managers to collaboratively price projects from start to finish.Your ResponsibilitiesPreparing and submitting detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.Interpreting project plans, scope of works, and other tender documents.Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.Conducting site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential risks.Working collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from tender to project delivery.What We're Looking ForProven experience as a Civil Estimator, preferably within the Victorian civil construction market. * Either a junior estimator seeking to learn and develop or a seasoned bids manager seeking a good working environment and freedom to work autonomously.A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, materials, and costs.Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.What's On Offer:A highly competitive salary package of up to $150k + super + vehicle * WFH felxibility arrangements - work from where you are most productive.Immediate start for the right candidate.We are arranging interviews on behalf of our client and are looking to start the process immediately.If you're an ambitious Estimator ready for your next career move, please hit apply and follow the prompts.At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
