Water Treatment Supervisor

• Lead a team to ensure efficient, reliable daily operations of water treatment facilities.
• Manage resources, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and maintenance strategies.
• Optimize performance and identify opportunities for asset upgrades and process improvements.
• Foster a safe work environment, promoting safety initiatives and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Coordinate team activities, meetings, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support operational excellence.

• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience planning and coordinating operational activities.
• Ability to analyse complex operational problems.
• Relevant technical qualifications, such as Certificate III in Water Operations or Water Treatment (desirable).
• Trade qualifications (mechanical/electrical) and tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering are advantageous.

• Internal teams across asset management, operations, safety, and community engagement.
• External suppliers, regulatory agencies, and service providers.
• Local communities and government departments.

• Flexible working hours, including some after-hours work.
• Some travel may be required.
• Valid driver’s license.
