
Quality and Compliance Officer

- Compliance inspections at all Government Sites (schools and government buildings - police stations, ambulance stations, etc) across the Sydney Metro or South West Sydney region to ensure adherence contract and legislative requirements.
- Conduct regular cleaning site audits and reviews and assess service quality against contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate on site compliance behaviours and support the site teams in learning and development, escalate any non-conformance to KAM or Operations Manager.
- Review and update site registers as required including site risk assessments, chemical registers, MSDS and escalate short falls or non-conformance.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home within the contract areas.
- Pro-actively assist in the development of a culture that is consistent with the ISS corporate objectives and supports the Operation Team by being team focused and having a 'can-do' approach

- Previous experience in an environment that requires a focus on quality, compliance and safety.
- Data interpretation and report writing experience Advanced level competency with Microsoft Excel
- Certificate in Internal Auditing (ISO 9001/14001/45001) or experience in the Facilities Management or Cleaning Services industry.
- To be highly organized and possess great time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comply with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice, as well as Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policy and Standards relevant to area of responsibility.
- A clear New South Wales police clearance, within 3 months of issue.
- Already hold or able to pass a NSW Working with Children Check.
- Experience with administering Quality Systems and Software (Auditing)
- Exposure to a medium to large employee base
- Experience within Facilities management (single service - Cleaning or Integrated Facilities Management - multiple service lines (cleaning, catering, etc)
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- Basic Certificate in First Aid
