- Lead corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting including the Corporate Plan and Statement of Corporate Intent.
- Provide expert advice to the CEO, Board and shareholder representatives on risk, finance, and governance.
- Oversee legal compliance, enterprise risk, internal audit, and probity functions.
- Manage financial stewardship and investment analysis aligned to public sector and GOC principles.
- Champion strong corporate communication, brand reputation, and strategic stakeholder engagement.
- Build high-performing, cross-functional teams across the Corporate Services portfolio.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a Corporate Services, CFO, or COO role within a GOC, infrastructure, utilities, or similar regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal, compliance, financial, and governance frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- A commitment to ethical leadership, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide collaboration.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Law, or Business (essential)
- Professional designation such as CPA or CA (desirable)
- Postgraduate qualifications in Strategy, Governance, Risk or Law (desirable)
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) and hold a current QLD Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
