We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.About the roleThe Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service within the Neurosciences Department at Eastern Health, is a specialist diagnostic clinic for people with early cognitive changes or concerns about memory loss. There is currently an opportunity to join our team with a leave cover, position. The primary responsibility is a weekly outpatient clinic. There may also be an opportunity to provide support for covering of unplanned leave.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:Essential

Must be a registered medical practitioner with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Must have significant clinical experience, with experience and training cognitive neurology.
Must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or hold equivalent qualifications to enable recognition as a specialist.
Must participate in relevant college continuing education programs particularly related Neurosciences and Cognitive Neurology.

Other

Demonstrated experience in teaching of medical students and HMOs.
Teaching experience of other clinical staff - nursing and allied health.
Exposure to research practices and principles.
Familiarity with clinical information systems.
