An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our client’s team for a short term contract supporting a broad range of goods, services, ICT, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in procurement who can work independently and adapt quickly.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage medium and low-risk contracts
  • Support the development of significant or higher-risk contracts
  • Conduct contract negotiations and prepare procurement documentation
  • Provide advice on procurement, contract renewals, and extensions
  • Facilitate tender evaluations, due diligence, and probity processes
Skills, Attributes and Experience:
  • 2–3 years minimum procurement experience, ideally within the government or public sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work largely autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong proficiency with ERP software
  • Quick to learn and navigate systems and processes
