Reporting to the GM P&C and partnering closely with the Exec GM Manufacturing, this newly created role provides dedicated support to the Manufacturing division across three key sites in Victoria, New South Wales, and Western Australia.The role will act as a senior-level business partner, balancing day-to-day generalist activity with forward-looking people strategy. It will require both critical thinking and a hands-on approach, ensuring initiatives are practical, implementable, and deliver real impact.You will be:
- Building consistency in people practices and processes across multiple sites.
- Rebuilding trust and engagement following a period of change.
- Equipping line managers with the tools and confidence to lead effectively.
- Enhancing organisational capability through learning programs and leadership development initiatives.
- Providing pragmatic solutions to operational challenges while contributing to the long-term people strategy.
You will bring broad HR generalist experience and the ability to partner at both strategic and operational levels. Importantly, you are comfortable being hands-on while also thinking critically about how people practices can best support organisational goals.Ideally, your background will include:
- Strong generalist expertise across areas that include business partnering, learning, performance management and can demonstrate breadth in the solutioning and implementation of people initiatives.
- Experience developing or leading learning and leadership development programs.
- The ability to influence, coach, and gain buy-in from senior stakeholders and frontline managers.
- A solutions-oriented mindset, with the agility to move between strategic projects and operational delivery.
- Familiarity with unionised workforces and enterprise bargaining agreements or knowledge of industrial frameworks an advantage.
