This is a newly created role that sits within the Line 1 Technology Risk and Compliance (TRC) section; and offers a unique opportunity to lead what is a critical business transformation program within the Bank’s IT Department.Whilst this role will primarily be acting in a sole contributor capacity, responsibilities will involve directing the work of staff across the TRC section and substantial liaison with the enterprise risk transformation program (Future Hub), across the IT Department, with technology project teams, and with Enterprise Risk and Compliance (Line 2).As Manager, Technology Risk Transformation you will:Lead the implementation of the risk transformation program in the IT DepartmentLead and manage the development of project planning and scheduling activities and ensure appropriate project reporting is in place to monitor and control implementation delivery.Lead, in consultation with workstream owners, the engagement of subject matter experts to support action and initiative identification and implementation planning.Support workstream owners, action leads, and internal/external partners to ensure a risk-based approach to prioritisation of activity is adopted and that implementation plans are effectively deliveredFoster collaborative work practices within the TRC section and engage with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are delivered on time and on budget, and meet or exceed quality expectations.Support the enterprise risk transformation program (Future Hub) and Enterprise Risk and Compliance Team (Line 2) where relevant to ensure risk transformation is embedded across the Bank.Support the business to prepare papers for relevant Board and Management Committee meetings.Your Background10 years + experience in either project or implementation management in a business transformation context, preferably within banking or financial services, or in other highly regulated sectors.Strong understanding of contemporary project and change management methodologiesExperience in the development and implementation of business transformation programs and initiatives, preferably in the context of a technology organisationUnderstanding of Bank-wide (or similar organisation) risk and compliance management frameworks, policies and standards.Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, economics, finance, risk, compliance or related discipline, or equivalent experience.Demonstrated negotiation and resolution management skillsStrong stakeholder management skills, including ability to influence senior stakeholdersBe MoreWorking for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
