(Fixed Term, Full-Time to September 2027)About the positionEnsure provision of effective and efficient delivery of services by our community support workers team by providing outstanding services for frail aged individuals, people living with a disability, people living with dementia, Aboriginal people, people who are LGBTQ&I and people from a CaLD background. The Support Worker Team Leader will be based at 6 Ingram St, Hamilton Hill. Key functions of the role are:
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Mentoring and supervising the Support Worker Team.
  • Ensuring adherence to CHSP guidelines and related Standards.
About youThe successful applicant will possess:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in the administration of Aged, Community and/or Health Care Services.
  • Must have VOC and Train the Trainer certificates, or willingness to obtain.
  • Well-developed knowledge of legislated training requirements for direct care workers.
  • Experience using client service management software and developed computer skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proven track record in managing a large team well.
  • Well-developed understanding and knowledge of the support of frail aged people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Well-developed supervisory skills including supportive attitude towards team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal People and their culture.
  • Understanding of budgets and ensure adherence to the same.
Salary and BenefitsSalary range: Level 5 - $93,945 to $99,660 per annum, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.We’re offering a range of great benefits:
