The OpportunityWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will support key financial planning, analysis and reporting activities working closely with the wider finance team and other business units, to contribute to the delivery of accurate insights and recommendations to drive informed decision making and support business objectives.A full job description including a breakdown of responsibilities can be found attached to the role on our careers page https://www.ashurst.com/en/careers/We are interested in hearing from people who have:
  • An accounting/finance background with strong budgeting and forecasting experience ideally in a professional services environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong skills in MS Excel including advanced functions to enable complex financial modelling and analysis
  • Experience using financial and management information systems as well as financial planning and reporting systems such as TM1/IBM Planning Analytics, Elite or similar PMS, with confidence in extracting data from these systems being highly desirable
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI and TM1/IBM PAfE reporting would be advantageous
