To find out more, visitAbout the opportunity:This exciting opportunity is a two year, full-time Project Engineer role in which you will be responsible for assisting in planning, executing and finalising matters relating to a major Victorian Civil Infrastructure project. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors in order to deliver the project according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will also assist to define objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.Further and detailed responsibilities are found in the position description which is available upon request and will include:

Ensuring safety management and systems to protect the health and safety of all people.
Managing the logistics relating to supply of precast products to the project.
Ensuring quality management systems are in place and adhered to.
Executing production plans in accordance with business targets.
Assisting with maximum operational and production efficiency of the facility.
Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
Minimising our exposure and risk on project/s.
Ensuring project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.

About you:

Sound understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles together with practical experience in a similar project environment.
A relevant Engineering and/ or Construction related qualification is preferred but not essential.
Practical experience in the prestress, precast or reinforced concrete industry will be highly regarded but experience in related industries e.g. civil construction/ heavy industrial manufacturing and similar also considered.
Understanding and experience of relevant production and project related transport and logistics.
Interested in Project Management, delivering projects from infancy to final completion.
Strong problem-solving ability and an ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Highly effective communication skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a given and you will be helped by your ability to maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
