This purpose of this position is to undertake all aspects of radiography for BreastScreen SWSLHD, demonstrating a high level of clinical expertise in the performance of breast imaging.Where you'll be working

- Registered as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA), hold a current EPA radiation license and meet the requirements of a Level 2 Radiographer in the Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award.
- Applicants must be female (exemption is claimed under Section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act).
- Experience or extensive knowledge of diagnostic/screening mammography, along with a knowledge of quality assurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience/knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Breastscreen Information Systems (BIS).
- Demonstrated ability to display empathy, courtesy towards clients, co-workers and all multidisciplinary staff
- Willingness to work across SWSLHD BreastScreen sites and across a 7 day roster, including undertaking overtime, when required.
