We're actively pursuing project opportunities in Solar, BESS, and Wind, as well as hybrid fossil fuel generation, hydrogen, and ammonia projects.As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our New Energy team.ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER
It is the site-based DIDO/FIFO role for our projects based across Australia
You are responsible for providing conceptual and detailed engineering of the project's HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical BOP. The primary challenge of this position is to ensure the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet contractual arrangements made with the client.Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts and constructability of projects.
- Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams
- Develop ITP and work packs for Electrical installation work packages
- Check Electrical works, Test Sheets, and signoff ITPs at completion of works
- Assist the Project Manager with compliance to the documentation required under the UGL Management System
- Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in an Electrical discipline
- Leadership ability and demonstrative experience in project management.
- Substantial experience in HV electrical systems or worked on renewable/ utilities projects
- Proven experience with the supervision of technical staff
- Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies
