Every day, EssilorLuxottica’s 190,000 employees in 150 countries work towards a common mission to help people see more and be more.Our Essilor production team at Silverwater is dedicated to the manufacturing of high-quality lenses for glasses, carefully crafting each individual order with precision and attention to detail to ensure it meets the exact specifications and unique requirements of each patient. We currently have a casual position available for either an experienced Optical Mechanic or Optical Worker with expertise. This role would alsi be suitable for someone with strong fine motor skills and keen attention to detail, who is eager to train and develop into a skilled Optical Mechanic.Key Responsibilities:

Sorting and Blocking optical lenses
Deblocking and Detapping lenses
Cleaning and Clipping lenses onto basket
Machine operating and preparation

About You:

Ideally you will have optical knowledge
Ability to work with other team members as part of continuous flow process
Sound communication skills
Ability to perform within a fast paced working environment
Ability to interpret optical data
Strong work ethic and a self starter
Attention to detail
Understandings of personal responsibilities under OH&S
