About the role:We are seeking a commercially minded Operations Lead - Counselling to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing Counselling team, ensuring effective service delivery, operational efficiency while fostering positive and collaborative culture. If you love bringing the best of people and creating culture of solutions and independence, then this is the right role for you!This newly created, permanent full-time position, that can be based in any of our Family Centers (Tuggerah, Waitara, Artarmon or Brookvale) and our team’s focus is on delivering high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic services for individuals, couples, and families. The incumbent may also bring expertise in areas such as child trauma, domestic and family violence, individual, couples and family counselling.The main objective of the role is to provide supervision, mentoring, and operational support to staff whilst contributing to service excellence, driving best practice, supporting innovation, and promoting continuous improvement, while shaping the strategic direction of the Team.Key responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Leadership, Community Services, Business Management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role, providing development whilst fostering engagement.
  • Strong understanding of counselling service delivery models.
  • Demonstrated commercial focus, including managing budgets, fee-for-service, NDIS, and other revenue streams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and report writing.
  • Business acumen with the ability to drive service growth, innovation, and sustainability.
  • A valid NSW Driveru0027s Licence and insured vehicle.
