Join a Leading Name in Australian ManufacturingAre you a qualified Mechanical Fitter looking for a stable, full-time role in a supportive team environment?Our client, a leader in the Australian feed manufacturing industry, is hiring for a permanent position at our Gunnedah site.About the RoleAs a Mechanical Fitter, you'll play a key part in keeping our plant running safely and efficiently. Your day will include both planned maintenance and responding to equipment breakdowns. You'll work closely with the maintenance and production teams to keep things moving.What We're Looking For
- Trade qualified - Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent (recognised in NSW)
- Experience in fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Safety-first mindset - knowledge of safe work practices is essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Food industry experience is a bonus, but not essential
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs
- Support equipment reliability and performance improvements
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to safe work practices
- Communicate clearly with operators and team leaders
- Assist with training and mentoring when required
